A Brazilian bishop is drawing fire after mocking consecration to St. Michael the Archangel and calling the devil “rather imaginary,” then pivoting to declare the real “exorcism” should be against “homophobia,” “femicide,” racism, and crimes against indigenous peoples. During the wheat harvest festival known as Dozynki Pod Debami, or Festival under the Oaks, the reapers make wreaths out of grain, flowers, nuts, and corn.
