TLM SHUTDOWN STUNS WESTERN KENTUCKY PARISH
The Diocese of Owensboro is ending the only weekly Traditional Latin Mass in western Kentucky, with Bishop William Medley ordering Immaculate Conception Parish in Earlington to stop after this weekend as he enforces Pope Francis’ Traditionis Custodes.
The move hits a packed parish that draws worshipers from far beyond county lines and sharpens the battle over ancient liturgy versus Vatican control, even as the church may keep Latin Masses in the Novus Ordo form.
