Pope Leo XIV is sounding the alarm: prayer, he says, is fading from Christian families and being brushed aside by a culture obsessed with efficiency, consumerism and tech fixes. In a blunt appeal at his first weekly audience after the July break, the pontiff urged Catholics to rediscover prayer “in its true form” and embrace the Liturgy of the Hours as a daily discipline — warning that what matters most is being lost.
