The Philippines has opened its first-ever exorcism center — reportedly the first in Asia — as the Catholic Church scrambles to train priests amid rising cases linked to occult practices and even Satanism, especially among the young. The St. Michael Center for Spiritual Liberation in Manila is being billed as a fortified hub for exorcism formation, with clergy from the Philippines, Asia and even the U.S. expected to train there. For a nation of more than 85 million Catholics, the message is stark: the Church sees a spiritual battle brewing, and it wants priests ready.
