EUCHARISTIC PROCESSION DRAWS MASSIVE BOSTON TURNOUT
Thousands of Catholics marched Saturday through downtown Boston in a two-hour Eucharistic procession along parts of the Freedom Trail, with Archbishop Richard Henning calling it the first time the route was walked there “as the people of God” led by Jesus in the Eucharist. The massive turnout shows the Church’s public push to reclaim historic ground and signals growing momentum for the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage as it moves up the East Coast.
