$240 MILLION CRS CASH BONANZA… AID BOMBSHELL
The State Department has handed Catholic Relief Services more than $240 million in U.S. humanitarian aid, the first big award in a new global rollout after Trump shut down USAID. The money is meant for rapid-fire disaster response in crisis zones including Ethiopia, Haiti, Nigeria, Sudan and Congo, where CRS is also battling the latest Ebola outbreak. The administration says the push is aimed at getting lifesaving help on the ground within 24 hours, while cutting red tape and overhead — a major shift in how Washington delivers foreign aid.

During the wheat harvest festival known as Dozynki Pod Debami, or Festival under the Oaks, the reapers make wreaths out of grain, flowers, nuts, and corn.
