Supreme Court will hear a high-stakes parental-rights fight after agreeing to take International Partners for Ethical Care v. Ferguson, a case over whether parents can challenge Washington policies that let state actors and shelters withhold key information when minors seek gender-related services. The ruling could reset the standing battle between the Ninth Circuit and other courts, and determine whether parents may get into court before the damage is done.
