A fire tore through a San Antonio church rectory Saturday afternoon, but Father Jimmy Drennan had left moments before and escaped unharmed as the structure was engulfed.
The blaze left serious hidden damage and now puts investigators on an electrical fault or other cause, a reminder of how fast disaster can strike clergy homes and parish property.
