LEO XIV HAILS MUSLIM-CHRISTIAN FRATERNITY
Pope Leo XIV stormed into Annaba, Algeria, visiting the Ma Maison care home run by the Little Sisters of the Poor, where he praised the shared peace and friendship among Catholics and Muslims after touring Hippo and greeting residents.
With about 40 seniors in the home, the visit put a spotlight on fragile but powerful interfaith harmony, as Leo warned that humility and charity—not pride—are what build hope in a tense world.
