FBI Director Kash Patel said the bureau has rescued 7,200 missing children and arrested 3,500 predators and traffickers, while also dismantling 3 million alleged pedophile accounts on the Tor network.
The numbers signal a major push against child exploitation online and on the streets, but they also spotlight a widening battle with offenders who hide behind encrypted networks and darker corners of the internet.
